I expect this entry will attract more responses from the ladies of blogland than men, but any replies are welcome.
I have to go on a severe diet because of my diabetes. It is really getting me down because I do like my food, though I dont actually over-eat. I thought I ate normally but.....
Anyway - SUGAR FREE / LOW LOW CARBS / LOW LOW FAT
Recipes/recommendations for snack foods please.
If I get sufficient response I may well open a new blog aimed at providing this recipes / recommendations as I havent been able to find one on here.

Nuts are low in carb, very healthy but not necessarily low in fat.
Cottage cheese or hummous with crackers or vegetable sticks.
Non-citrus fruits such as apples and plums are relatively low in carbs.
My "special secret": Mr Tom spicey tomato juice!
