On Sunday at the Labour conference when Gordon was 'coronated' he said "I have travelled to every part of the country and l;istened to the people....'

That was his first lie as labour leader! The furthest he has been in the last 10 years in the South West was Poundsgate in Dorset in 2005 and Bristol this year!

Devon, Cornwall, Somerset - That is a massive chunk to miss out but claim to have heard our voice!!

Hello Fellow Bloggers, I have put together this petition to Blog Co Uk after a series of distatesful, nasty and illegal blogs have been published recently and no action taken.

Please leave a comment below if you agree so we can ensure decency at Blog co uk is maintained at a decent level.

For your information: we are not talking about censoring free speech EXCEPT where it is pornographic, illegal, maliciously violent, or just downright nasty.

A disgraceful blog has been allowed to stand all day and presumably approved by the powers that be at BCUK, as it has been flagged by a lot of bloggers. Either that or the administrators do not work on Sundays. Either case is disgraceful.
Any blog that encourages threats and encouragements to murder anybody, let alone our Queen, should be closed down without hesitation.

For the exhorbitant prices they charge for Cd's and DVD's if I found a reliable source I deffo would be.

It mainly comes down to the artistes/actors! If they didnt demand such high fees everything could be cheaper. Why does anybody need to charge $5 million or whatever for 3 months work making a movie!!

I see all the Blairites are changing their coats. How I HATE politics. I do hope Gordon Brown is not so stupid as to be fooled by their colour changing antics.

Anyone, in government, who supported Blair should be put out of office and demoted to the backbenches.

I really do hope Gordon has the courage, strength and brashness to bring freshness and honesty back to politics.

I doubt it though. He, like all the others, will do what he is told to do by the civil servants!!

I had a very sleepy day yesterday, it was really good. I think the last week had been very stressful one way and another and it all caught up on me.

I am feeling considerably rested today and whilst not 'full of vim and vigour' yet, I am awake and making plans for the day.

I did miss blogland yesterday though. In my waking moments I actually had to fight myself not to come online!!

We have made a decision to continue to move. If you recall we could either move or buy a new car - we have chosen to move. I have emailed several letting agents who I swore I wouldnt use because its such a rip off and told them I would use them if they would agree on a 'no home - no fee' basis. I know how they work!!

If we can find a home in Farnham, within walking distance of daughters home, we wont need a car for a while. Sorted! Just need to find an agent to accept my offer .

I am amazed how the vast majority of people in USA, when guilty of a capital offence will admit the offence just to save themselves from the death sentence.

Personally, death would be far more preferable than 50 or whatever years in jail!!

I have learnt a lesson throughout my life - never recommend anyone for anything especially family and friends. John Smith (his real name ) I recommended him to my business partner as a kitchen porter. He peeled spuds so that they were 1/4 of their original size I recommended my daughter to a job and she left on the first day I recommended another friend for a job and he ended up stealing from them

For those that dont know me, I write this from the perspective of a Christian, (and ex 'church' leader), of some 30 years.

I see another 'religious' row has broken out, this time over chastity rings. .

When will Christians learn to take a stand over things that matter, and not nonsense like this?

Jesus said, "make every effort to live in harmony with all men".

He did not say, "make every effort to get publicity and cause rows".

He DID also say "obey your rulers" and "do not enter into fruitless arguments".

A chastity ring, (the ones in this row are silver but they are also available in Gold, platinum and for the real cheapskates, tin!) is not an 'official' christian symbol. The chastity ring, is a scam dreamt up the Americans in their non-stop commercialisation of christianity (not just christianity though) and are more expensive than similar rings in jewellers.

Having said that, the school is stupid to have such a rule anyway. The ring is smooth edged, it doesnt have a stone to injure deliberately or accidentally and if it works (in its intended manner) whats the harm?

As the father of daughters I would just point out that once those hormones start raging a ring is a waste of time anyway

I am sad. She has been a good friend and drove beautifully. Never a moments complaint or hesitation and once, in an emergency situation, she took me at 120mph to London!

If I can find another car, half as good as Betsy, I will be happy.
