Authorities across the UK are currently considering the introduction of a new style traffic control camera.
The new equipment not only takes photographs of offending vehicles but through modern technology dispenses justice at the same time.
The cameras are thought to be being programmed to deal with a wide range of offences from parking offences to no car tax, insurance or MOT, to speeding, jumping red lights or driving too slowly.  Also included as a priority will be stolen vehicles and those wanted for other offences and non payment of fines.
This new generation of cameras will take the photograph to establish the identity of the car driver/owner and then a second later dispense a laser ray which will vaporise the vehicle and its occupants.
