Cant live without 'em..... ?

So they want to change the emphasis of the laws surrounding prostitution.

Instead of getting rid of the archaic laws that stigmatise and criminalises a woman for needing to earn money they are now going to concentrate on the buyer not the seller. Well, I suppose it is fairer, but is it justice?

What about the bloke who doesnt want to have a relationship outside of his sexless marriage but does need the sex?

What about the bloke, for whatever reason, who needs sex?

If the politicians really want to deal with sex slave traffickers there are plenty of other laws that could be used to prosecute the offenders.

PS and for those wondering - no I dont

I think they should let them get on with it and have it regulated a bit to protect both the men and the women involved....

It is so hypocritical not to legalise the whole thing. As lonemum says the girls will be better protected, as will the punters too. It is only sex at the end of the day, one of the most natural things in the world, and to try and pretend otherwise just turns the whole industry into something dark and seedy where girls are exploited and disease runs rife.

I totally agree with all of you, excepting the two that at death's door still wouldn't be able to keep their minds off the job, joking guys . But yeh, better a healthy relief than the misery and stress frustration causes. Maybe KW's right and you should be able to get repeat prescriptions for it.

I do not see the problem, as long as both parties protect themselves and each other from diseases and pregnancy.

It`s a business deal - one provides a service and one pays for it. Sex without strings attached for the customer, a way to make money and be self employed for the other.

I feel it should be treated as such.
